The House
Tostarie is a converted 19th century barn which comfortably accommodates five people in three rooms (one double bedroom, one single and a room with a bunk bed). It has a renovated bathroom and kitchen, a living room and dining room/conservatory which provides stunning view of Loch Tuath and Islands to the South.
Renovated from a ruin in 1980, the house has been refurbished to high standards and provides comfortable, warm accommodation reflecting the expectations of modern living (including the internet) while preserving aspects of its original heritage.
The house affords commanding views across Loch Tuath towards Ben Moore and nearby islands and mountains, it is an ideal base from which to explore Mull, to relax on the Island’s beaches, or spend time in charming and bustling Tobermory (the Island’s capital and inspiration for the children’s TV show Balamory).
The property will be appreciated by people who enjoy nature and the natural environment, or those who would just enjoy relaxing and chilling out with a book. With magnificent views to in all directions, the property really is an atmospheric treat.
